Welcome

Using the power of water to improve mobility

About Us
You and your pet can count on our expert service. Together we can give your pet the care it deserves.

Our mission

We make sure that your pet gets all the help it needs
Here at DogFish, we want your dogs to reach their full fitness potential as soon as possible, whether that be after an injury or longer term disease.

Hydrotherapy provides non weight bearing exercise. By removing this impact, your pet can exercise and regain strength, fitness and muscle. While your pet is swimming, you will also see a greater range of movement, so joints become more mobile encouraging the production of healthy joint fluid.

What are the benefits?

We know that your pet is more than just an animal; they're also an irreplaceable companion and family member
Hydrotherapy particularly benefits our older dogs as arthritis causes a reduction in stride length and pain as the affected limb hits the ground. We have seen many older patients return to their puppy-like antics once swimming. Things like jumping up and pulling on the lead return and lagging behind on walks and struggling to rise become a thing of the past

The gentle, specially tailored fitness programmes improve cardiovascular fitness, especially once the jets provide further resistance. Overweight dogs benefit from this when their weight or another condition prevents them from exercising sufficiently to cause weight loss. Hydrotherapy can kick start a weight loss programme by improving all round fitness and mobility so that land-based exercise is more comfortable and possible.
